To view the link Register на выложенные одним иностранным камрадом аудио-ролики с красноречивым названием "How to Make Rome 3" общей продолжительностью в добрых семь(!)
Spoiler (expand)
Passive faction bonuses keep being added as long as the same family is in power, resets when the family changes, encourages politics
You can change what provinces regions are in
Settlements have loads of AI controlled building slots representing the countryside and small towns, can manually control if you want, the main settlement has the player controlled slots
Armies can be any size, limited by supplies
Settlements have population, can't recruit past their limit as per Rome 1
Basic supply system, easier than DeI's one, ability to stockpile supplies in chosen locations to make life easier
Generals not required for armies but preferred, limited pool of generals as per Shogun 2, unlimited pool of captains who can be promoted to generals
Fewer pop-ups and interruptions, cleaner UI design, more information given on background stats e.g. gravitas changes
Certain units will have a unit pool as per Medieval 2
Integrity will have greater effects
Politics will matter more and be easier to conduct, no restrictions on which characters are good to use in the campaign though
No civil war, but 'mass rebellions' and 'political coups' can provide fair late game challenges along similar lines
Factions can change their 'type' e.g. from monarchy to republic, various bonuses and techs linked to each type
Techs are tiered, can research lots at once, all factions have the entire tech tree but start in different tiers
Spies are more numerous, less powerful, line of sight on everything is reduced so spies are more important for actual spying
Can move very slowly through think forest or mountains so they aren't quite impassible, but various details make this hard, too much to explain
Basic agent system, less game changing
more tpy, shorter movement ranges
Bigger and slightly more complex system of garrison units at settlements
Ability to restore population taken as slaves by recapturing them from the enemy
Public order easier to manage, more stable
Armies don't fully replenish after losses, just partially. Full replenishment happens via a monetary cost as per Empire total war.
Harder to attack in winter.
Return of permanent forts, upgradable and nameable, helpful for supplies and avoiding winter attrition
Interceptions return from Empire/Napoleon
Armies stuck in zones of control of other armies can't move, reasons to detailed to explain here
Reinforcements show up with a delay after the battle starts, not right away, delays changes based on how far they were from the battle on the map
Navies move further but are more limited in how far they can go from coasts
Various new diplomacy options added, won't explain here
Easier retreating from battles, can chose where to retreat to
Character skills give new abilities rather than passive stat increases
Building have special functions, no food or PO penaties unless it makes sense, only a soft limit on how many buildings can be in a settlement
roads can be upgraded, anything can be walled, both limited by cost and will happen automatically eventually
Units are divided into 'levy' and 'professional' types, levies can be recruited as long as there is population, professional draws from the unit pool
Can optionally take command of any battles your vassals engage in
Revamped campaign AI with a new design philosophy, aiming to be more of a 'bot', can't explain here
Auto-resolves heavily worked on to make accurate, new stance options
More variety in terrain on battlefield, fewer flat or open fields
More importance of weather and more consequences for waiting for better weather
Battle AI given 'meta-strategies', too hard to explain here
More battlefield defences
Can surrender if withdraw isn't an option to prevent loss of population
Morale system more informative, always know what is affecting what, easier to rout units using strategic positioning
Fighting animations altered heavily, again too detailed to explain
Wounded troops visible on field
baggage trains deployable to restore ammo and stamina to units
Siege battles made more dependent on supply mechanics to provide different kinds of fights to field battles, can't explain here
Naval battles based on ground-up rethinking of ship classes, more tactical gameplay, bigger sea areas to fight on
Beefier sound design
Less modern aesthetic
High tempo music as per Rome 1
Avatar conquest mode, more options for custom battles using new mechanics, teaming systems
Various propositions on how to make it all affordable to develop, mainly not focusing on graphics at all and reusing TWIII engine/assets
